Travel Time: 4 ¾ hours
After visiting the Fox Glacier, we set off for Queenstown. The road led us past waterfalls and rivers to country side with sparse vegetation.
The lakes are truly beautiful and we just stopped wherever we could to take photos.
We read about the famous ‘bra fence’ (a fence made out of bras!) and tried to look out for it but were told by the locals that it had been taken down due to complaints from some American tourists (we thought they would be more open-minded!).
We stopped by the lake town of Wanaka to visit the Puzzling World, a unique tourist attraction.
Spent a little too much time in Wanaka and by the time we arrived at Queenstown, it was already late evening.
