One of the very popular tourist attractions in Rotorua is the Agrodome, a theme park where we spent half the day at the Sheepshow, going on a farm tour and my children rolled down the hill in a giant ball called the Zorb. There were other attractions but we were rushing for time as we had to drive to Auckland to catch our flight home.

The farm tour was fun as we were allowed to feed the animals, except the pigs and the cows, as they could be quite unpredictable. We had to be on the lookout as we walked around because of all the animal droppings...well, it is a farm with lots of animals! But not to worry, after the tour was over there was a place with taps and big plastic brushes for us to clean the soles of our shoes.
At the kiwi farm we had the opportunity of tasting a bit of kiwi wine as well as some fresh honey.
My children insisted on riding in the Zorb, even though the queue was quite long and we were running a bit late as we had planned to go to the Kelly Tarlton's Underwater World in Auckland before they closed at 6 pm.
My kids wearing red, inside the Zorb...having a screaming fun time rolling down the hill.
